DESCRIPTION: This class is for all levels and is
beginner friendly!
The invert is the basis of so many aerial pole tricks, and is really fun. Proper inversion technique helps you build strength and prevent injury. We will train on the floor, with and without the pole, to warm up and strengthen our cores and all other inversion-supporting muscle groups. Then we’ll tackle your personal next-level invert-related goals, whether it be simply getting familiar with basic inverting step-by-step, or tackling your latest nemesis upside-down pose or maneuver. We will try to allow some time to practice an extra trick or 2 on the ground and prep to bring them into the air.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Must wear short-shorts, and well-fitted top (tank or bra) given the possibilty of needing torso skin exposed to stick to pole. Expect a barefoot class. Always bring yoga mat, towel, 70% isopropyl alcohol, and water.
