NOTE:  If you have NOT gotten approved for Open Pole your reservation *WILL be REMOVED*.
For seasoned Beginners and above (must have taken a minimum of 5 classes, or by approval -- contact Lorena at 619-985-6970 to be cleared) 

This 90-minute session is available to students for self-directed training of skills you have already been taught, or free dance, on/off pole, etc.  Must be comfortable with and disciplined about warming yourself up when you begin your Open Pole time, as well as stretching when you are done, to prevent any risk of injury. 

NO FORMAL INSTRUCTION:  Please note that this goes BOTH ways for all students in Open Pole as well, that is:
  • No requesting instruction from other students in your OP session
  • No offering instruction to other students in your OP session 
INSTRUCTOR ON SITE:
  • strictly to monitor class for safety and to answer questions/offer guidance with technique or other issues
  • available to change poles into spinning or static mode
  • may offer support with spotting if feel able to do so, but no guarantee of this
  • reserves the right to ask a student to change course if what student is doing looks unsafe
  • can restrict a student from attending future OP sessions without a new round of approval   
REQUIRED:  Must bring your own yoga mat, towel and 70% isopropyl alcohol for pole use, and any other support items or accessories for your training.
REMINDER:  Stilettos or any footwear you practice on the pole with MUST NOT be street-worn (studio or stage only!).
